Contemporary Performance Workshop

This 8-week Contemporary Performance Workshop is inspired by the energy of pop performance. Think Bad Bunny’s Benito Bowl meets Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, translated through contemporary technique. Instead of backup-dancer choreography, it becomes grounded floorwork, weight shifts, inversions, partnering, and textured movement, all with the same clarity, punch, and presence.

Designed for beginning dancers who are curious about what it’s actually like to be part of a rehearsal process, we’ll take choreography the way you learn it in class and build it into a fully realized performance piece together.

No previous performance experience is required. Kristin will guide you step by step, helping you grow comfortable not just with the movement, but with performing it. You’ll build connection with your fellow dancers and experience what it feels like to create as a team working toward a shared moment on stage.

If you’ve been wanting to move beyond class combinations and step into something bold, expressive, and performance-driven, this is your space.
